We are happy to welcome you to our home! Morgantown is a great place to live or visit, and we are delighted to share it with you. Whether you are spending time with friends or family, or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

This manual includes check-in information, amenities, house rules, and recommendations for the area. Please reference it if you have any questions during your stay.

We strive to offer a 5-star experience to our guests. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address and fix the issues.

Check-In

Check-in is available any time after 4 pm.

When arriving at 421 Pennsylvania Ave, park your vehicle on the street where you can find space. At the front door, enter your door code into the electronic lock and it will open. Make sure to grab the parking pass inside the home and place it in your vehicle to avoid a ticket.

Important notes:

  • The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes
  • Please keep music at a reasonable level; quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM

Door Lock Instructions

schlage

The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt with wifi capability. You will not need keys or lockboxes during your stay.

To unlock the door:

  1. Press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad
  2. Type the code we provided you
  3. The door will automatically unlock

If you see a red X when typing the code, a number was likely pressed incorrectly. Try again and it will usually work. If the problem persists, contact us and we can quickly check the lock.

Check-Out

  1. Place the parking pass on the coffee table or kitchen counter and send us a photo of it. Loss of the pass will result in a minimum $50 charge plus any tickets our next guest receives while we obtain a replacement.
  2. Place TV remotes back on the TV stand in the living room and bedrooms, and log out of any streaming services that are yours.
  3. Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings.
  4. Close any windows, turn off lights, and lock the front door as you depart.

House Rules

Being mindful of our house rules is appreciated and expected. We hope you love our space and will help us take care of it.

  • No house parties
  • Strict no pets policy. Pet cleaning fees start at $500
  • Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy. You may smoke or vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1,000
  • Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest

Amenities

  • Bedrooms: Our suite comes with 4 bedrooms, each with a full size bed.
  • Coffee: We have a standard drip coffee maker with generic coffee flavors, cream, sugar, and filters provided. If you prefer something specific, we recommend picking it up beforehand.
  • Laundry: Complimentary in-house laundry is available to all guests. The washer is in the second bathroom. We provide detergent and dryer sheets. Please clean out any lint from the dryer after use, as buildup can be a fire hazard.
  • Television: This property is equipped with Roku TVs. Simply press one of the apps and log in to access streaming services. Please log out of your streaming services before you leave.

Parking

Parking is available in front of the home along the street. You can park anywhere the curb is blue. The city has provided one parking pass for the house, which must be in your vehicle to avoid receiving a ticket.

Lost pass: If the parking pass is taken with you or lost during your stay, there is a minimum fee of $50 from the city to replace it, plus any tickets our next guest receives until we obtain a replacement. Please leave the pass on the counter at departure. If you arrive and the pass is not at the house, let us know right away.

Additional parking: If you need to park more than one vehicle, there is a parking garage up the road that works well for most guests. It is approximately a 9-minute walk to the house. View parking garage location

Garbage

Garbage day is every Tuesday morning. If your stay overlaps this day, please take garbage and recycling bags out to the street for pickup.

Mail and Packages

We do not recommend having deliveries sent to the property, as we cannot guarantee safe and timely delivery or monitor the property at all times.

For a more secure option, we recommend using the local post office's general delivery service. They can receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please provide clear instructions to delivery personnel if you choose this option.

Please note that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.

Items Left Behind

If you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. Please be aware that there will be a shipping cost and a fee for our time involved that must be paid before we can ship the items.
