Check-In
Check-in time is 4PM unless early check-in has already been discussed and agreed upon.
When arriving at 491 East Avenue North, you will find a house with white siding and brown, wood shutters. Park your vehicle in front of the house just off the street.
Electronic Door Lock
The property has an electronic Schlage Encode deadbolt with a wifi-enabled keypad. No keys are needed during your stay.
To unlock the door:
- Press the Home button on the bottom left of the lock to light up the keypad
- Type in the code we sent you
- The door will automatically unlock
If you see a red X when typing the code, a wrong number was likely pressed. Try again and it will usually work. If the issue persists, contact us for assistance.
Please note: The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes.
House Rules
- No house parties
- Strict no pets policy. Pet cleaning fees start at $500
- Strict no smoking or vaping policy. Smoke remediation fees start at $1000
- Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest
- Music should be played at a reasonable level. Quiet time is between 10 PM and 8 AM
Checkout
Checkout time is 11AM
Check Out Procedure:
- Place all used bath towels in the laundry basket in the laundry room/bedrooms
- Load all dishes in the dishwasher and run a cycle. Dishwasher detergent is located underneath the kitchen sink
- Empty all garbage cans and place the bags in the garbage bins outside or in the garage
- Place TV remotes back on the TV stand in the living room and bedrooms and log out of any streaming services that are yours
- Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
- Close any windows if opened, turn off lights, lock the back patio door, and lock the front door by hitting the lock button on top of the e-lock
Accommodations
The home sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 queen beds and 2 twin-sized beds.
Climate Control
Mini-split AC/Heat units have been recently installed for comfort. Locate the white Samsung remote on the TV stand in the family room. The remote is universal and can operate any of the 3 wall units in the family room, dining room, or kitchen.
To use:
- Hit the power button once and ensure it says "Auto"
- Use the up or down arrows to adjust the temperature
- The unit operates best when set between 68-74 degrees
Please ensure the remote is returned to the bowl under the TV before you leave. Ensure all units and bedroom fans are switched to "OFF" whenever you leave the house and before checking out.
For heat, use the wall units in the family room, dining room, and kitchen. We've found it easiest to set at 69°F and leave it while at home.
Laundry
We provide complimentary in-house laundry to all guests. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided. Please clean out any lint from the dryer after use, as too much buildup can be a fire hazard.
Amenities

- Parking: You're welcome to park anywhere along the gravel driveway to the left side of the house, by the fence. Please avoid parking on the water meter cover near the street where marked by flags. Do not park on dirt areas or areas flagged, as these are being prepared for landscape.
- Kitchen: Dishes, pots/pans, and small appliances can be found in the upper cabinets. Silverware and cooking utensils are in the drawers. Do not cut directly on the butcher block countertops—numerous cutting boards are provided.
- Coffee: We have a standard drip-style coffee maker. We provide some generic flavors along with standard cream and sugar. If you want anything specific, we recommend picking some up beforehand.
- TV: The property is equipped with a smart TV. Simply press one of the apps on the TV and login for streaming movies and TV shows.
- Garbage: Trash can be placed in the gray garbage bin out front.
- Toilets: Please flush nothing but toilet paper. Trash bins are provided for all other items, including excess toilet paper and all feminine products (even ones marked as flushable), as they will clog the septic system and may cause toilets to overflow.
- Lawn Care: Lawn maintenance is done weekly. The crew is usually quick to mow and out of your way.
- Beach Towels: More beach towels are available for rent at Banbury and Miracle Hot Springs. Please do not remove bath towels from the house.
Mail & Packages
While we understand the convenience of having deliveries, we do not recommend having packages delivered to the property, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times and cannot guarantee safe and timely delivery.
For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option.
Please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.
Items Left Behind
In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. Please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items.
We understand that accidents happen, and we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
