How to Access the Property

Check-in is available any time after 4 pm.

When arriving at 1542 S Denver Ave, you will find a large house with big windows in the front and another house close to the left. Simply park your vehicle in front of the house.

The property has an electronic Schlage lock installed on the door, so you do not need to worry about keys during your stay.

To unlock the door, press the Home button on the bottom left of the lock to light the keypad. Then type in the code we sent you, and the door will automatically unlock.

Important notes:

  • The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes.
  • Please ensure music is played at a reasonable level as we have neighbors we have to respect. Our quiet time is between 10 PM and 8 AM.

Door Lock Instructions

schlage

The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt wifi lock. You will not be using any lockboxes or keys during your stay. If you see a lockbox, please ignore it and use the keypad on the front door.

To unlock the door, press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad. Then type the code we provided you, and the door will automatically unlock.

If you get a red X when typing the code, a wrong number was likely accidentally pressed. Try again and it will likely work. If it still doesn't work, please send us a message so we can quickly check the lock and see what the error is.

Checkout Procedure

  1. Place TV remotes back on the TV stand in the living room and bedrooms and log out of any streaming services that are yours.
  2. Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings.
  3. Place the parking passes back on the counter in the kitchen and send us a photo of them to avoid any charges for lost passes. The city charges $50 to replace them.
  4. Close any windows if opened, turn off lights, lock the back and side doors, and lock the front door by hitting the lock button on the bottom of the e-lock keypad.
  5. Being that this is a pet-friendly home, be sure to pick up any pet waste in the yard. Failure to do this will result in an $80 fee to have us do it for you.

House Rules

Being mindful of our house rules is appreciated and expected. We hope you love our space and will help us take care of it.

  • No house parties
  • Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy. You may smoke or vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1,000.
  • Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest

Parking

There is free street parking available right in front of the home as well as a garage in the back. You should have no problems finding a space for your vehicle(s).

Parking in front of the home requires a parking pass. We have 2 laminated yellow parking passes at the house. Feel free to place one in your dash during your stay to avoid a ticket, but make sure it is returned upon checkout. Loss of a parking pass is a $50 charge from the city.

If you use the garage, garage door openers are available in the kitchen for you to use during your stay. If a garage door opener or key is lost, we will have to charge you to replace those items.

Sleeping

Our suite comes with 4 bedrooms:

  • 1 King bed on the main floor
  • 2 Queen beds upstairs
  • 2 Twin beds in one room upstairs

We also have a pullout couch in the second living room. Sheets and blankets for the pullout couch are in the room with the two twin beds.

Hot Tub

The hot tub is yours to enjoy during your stay! Hot tub maintenance comes by Fridays to clean and ensure the chemicals and pH balance are correct. Please let us know if anything looks off with it or if it needs additional cleaning. Our cleaning crew checks this after every guest as well.

Occasionally, the hot tub screen gets locked by accident. To unlock it, see this YouTube video.

Coffee

We have both Keurig style and traditional drip coffee makers in the property. We provide some generic flavors along with standard cream, sugar, and filters. If you want anything specific, we recommend picking some up beforehand.

Garbage

Garbage day is every Tuesday morning. If your stay overlaps this day, please take garbage and recycling bags out to the street for pickup. The garbage cans are just outside the back fence next to the garage, and you can move them to the alleyway to be picked up.

Fire Pit

The outdoor fire pit is a gas fire pit. Here are the instructions to use it:

  1. Grab the long lighter from the drawer in the kitchen closest to the mini fridge (please return it here when done).
  2. Go to the back of the fire pit outside, where you will see a gas valve sticking out.
  3. Light the lighter just above the glass rocks where the fire will be.
  4. Turn the gas valve to open it up, and the lighter should light it. If it doesn't light right away, turn the gas off and start over to avoid too much initial flame.
  5. When you are done, turn the pit off by closing the gas valve in the back.

TV

This property is equipped with full smart TVs in both living rooms and every bedroom. Simply press one of the apps on the TV and log in for unlimited streaming movies and TV shows. You can also use the live TV option through LG TV and access hundreds of channels.

Lawn Care

Our lawn care company comes by Tuesday mornings or early afternoon. They are quick to mow and be out of your way.

Washing Machine & Dryer

We provide complimentary in-house laundry to all guests so you can have a clean set of clothes before you depart and return home. The washer and dryer are at the top of the stairs in the small room. We provide detergent and dryer sheets so you don't have to worry about picking any up during your stay.

Please note: If you use the washer or dryer, please ensure you clean out any lint from the dryer as too much buildup can be a fire hazard.

Mail & Packages

While we understand the convenience of having deliveries, we would like to advise that it is not our recommended practice due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee the safe and timely delivery of packages, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times.

For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please ensure you provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option.

Additionally, please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.

Items Left Behind

In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. However, please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items.
