Welcome to our home! Idaho is a great place to live or visit, and we are delighted to share it with you. Whether you are spending time with friends or family, or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

This manual includes check-in information, amenities, house rules, and more. We strive to offer a 5-star experience to our guests. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address and fix the issues.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns through text here or via the booking platform you used. To ensure prompt assistance, we kindly request that you reserve phone calls for urgent matters.

Check-In

Check-in time is 4PM (or anytime after) unless early check-in has already been discussed and agreed upon.

When arriving at 1102 Heckathorn, you will find a white townhouse with a turquoise/teal door. This house is the right side of the 2 townhouses. Simply park your vehicle in front of the house (driveway or street).

Electronic Door Lock

The property has an electronic Schlage Encode deadbolt wifi lock. You will not need keys at any point during your stay.

To unlock the door:

  1. Press the Home button on the bottom left of the lock to light up the keypad
  2. Type in the code we sent you
  3. The door will automatically unlock

Please note: The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes. Be careful to unlock it anytime you enter and exit the property.

If you get a red X when typing the code, a wrong number was likely accidentally pressed. Try again and it will likely work. If it still doesn't work, please message us so we can quickly check the lock.

Check-Out

  1. Place TV remotes back on the TV stand in the living room and bedrooms and log out of any streaming services that are yours
  2. Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
  3. Close any windows if opened, turn off lights, lock the back door, and lock the front door by hitting the lock button on the bottom of the e-lock keypad

House Rules

Being mindful of our house rules is appreciated and expected. We hope you love our space and will help us take care of it.

  • No house parties
  • Strict no pets policy. Pet cleaning fees start at $500
  • Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy. You may smoke/vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1000
  • Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest

Amenities & Features

Bedrooms & Sleeping

Our suite comes with 3 bedrooms – 1 King, 1 Queen, and 1 Full. There are also 4 decent-sized couches in the home that are available to use if you wish.

Parking

There is free street parking available right in front of the home as well as a driveway and a garage. You should have no problems finding a space for your vehicle(s).

We do not provide a garage door opener or code, but you're welcome to use the garage with the button inside.

  • Coffee: We have a standard drip-style coffee maker in the home for you to use. We provide generic coffee, creamer, and sugar. If you want anything specific, we recommend stopping to grab it on your way.
  • TV: This property is equipped with smart TVs for you to use. Simply press one of the apps on the TV and log in for streaming movies and TV shows.
  • Washing Machine & Dryer: We provide complimentary in-house laundry to all of our guests so you can have a clean set of clothes before you depart and return home. The washer and dryer are next to the garage. We provide detergent so you don't have to worry about picking any up during your stay.

Please note: If you use the washer/dryer, please ensure you clean out any lint from the dryer as too much buildup can be a fire hazard.

Garbage

The trash and recycling bins are just out front next to the garage door. The neighbor will take these down to the road on trash day, so you do not need to worry about this.

Walking Path

There is a gate leading to the path behind the home. We have a padlock on the gate, but the code is on the back of the lock if you wish to access the walking path.

Packages & Mail

While we understand the convenience of having deliveries, we would like to advise that it is not our recommended practice due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee the safe and timely delivery of packages, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times.

For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please ensure you provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option.

Additionally, please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not end up reaching you.

Items Left Behind

In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. However, please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items.
