Welcome to our home in Elkins! Whether you're spending time with friends and family or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. This guide includes check-in information, amenities, local recommendations, and answers to common questions.
We strive to offer a 5-star experience. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it.

Check-In
Check-in is available any time after 4 pm.
When you arrive at 90 Faulkner Rd, park your vehicle on the other side of the road, leaving room for others as much as possible. The property features electronic Schlage locks on each door, so you won't need keys during your stay. Enter the door code we sent you to unlock Room 102.
Door Lock Instructions

The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt with wifi connectivity. You will not use any lockboxes or keys during your stay.
To unlock the door:
- Press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad
- Type the code we provided
- The door will automatically unlock
If you see a red X when typing the code, a number was likely pressed accidentally. Try again—it will usually work. If the problem persists, contact us and we'll check the lock right away.
Check-Out
- Leave used towels on the floors and beds unmade
- Place the TV remote back on the TV stand and log out of any streaming services you used
- Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
- Close any open windows, turn off lights, lock the back patio door, and lock the front door by pressing the button on the bottom of the e-lock
House Rules
We appreciate your respect for our space. Please help us take care of it.
- No house parties
- Strict no smoking or vaping indoors. You may smoke or vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1,000
- Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest
Amenities
- Parking: Free street parking is available on the other side of the road. You shouldn't have any issues finding a spot.
- Sleeping: The suite includes 2 queen size beds.
- WiFi: Network: MyOptimum bb6357 Password: 4384-blue-75
- TV: The property is equipped with a full smart TV. Press any app on the TV and log in for unlimited streaming movies and TV shows. You can also use the live TV option through Roku TV to access hundreds of channels.
- Coffee: A Keurig-style coffee maker is available with a custom filter pod for your preferred coffee flavor. We provide generic creamer and sugar, but feel free to bring specific flavors if you prefer.
- Outdoor Grill: An outdoor grill is available for guest use just outside the east door in a small hangout area. A cabinet nearby contains grill tools. This is a shared area for the lodge—please clean up after yourself and scrape the grill of food remnants when done.
- Garbage: A dumpster is available on the other side of the road by the parking lot for use during your stay.
- Housekeeping: As a small lodge, we don't offer complimentary mid-stay housekeeping. However, you can purchase mid-stay cleans from our housekeeping crew. Contact us directly if you'd like someone to clean the room and wash linens and towels at any point during your stay.
- Washing Machine & Dryer: We don't have a washing machine or dryer available for guests. For stays longer than 4 nights, feel free to request replacement towels and linens—we'll do our best to accommodate.
For laundry needs, Mary's Maytag laundromat is located at 159 Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241.
Mail & Packages
We don't recommend having deliveries sent to the property, as we cannot guarantee safe and timely delivery or monitor the property at all times.
For a more secure option, use the local post office's general delivery service. They can receive and store packages until you pick them up. Provide clear instructions to delivery personnel if you choose this option.
Please note that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely won't reach you.
Items Left Behind
If you leave personal items at the property, we're happy to help retrieve and ship them to you. Please be aware that shipping costs and our time involved will need to be paid before we can send the items.
