Welcome to our home in Elkins! Whether you're spending time with friends and family or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. This guide includes check-in information, amenities, local recommendations, and answers to common questions.

We strive to offer a 5-star experience. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it.

Check-In

Check-in is available any time after 4 pm.

When arriving at 90 Faulkner Rd, you'll find the lodge in the listing photos. Park your vehicle on the other side of the road, leaving room for others as much as possible.

The property has electronic Schlage locks on each door—no keys needed. To enter Room 103, enter the door code we sent you and the door will open.

Door Lock Instructions

The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt with wifi connectivity. You will not need lockboxes or keys during your stay. If you see a lockbox, please ignore it and use the keypad on the front door.

To unlock the door:

1. Press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad
2. Type the code we provided
3. The door will automatically unlock

If you see a red X when typing the code, a wrong number was likely pressed. Try again and it will usually work. If the issue persists, contact us and we'll quickly check the lock.

Check-Out

1. Leave used towels on the floors and leave used beds unmade
2. Place the TV remote back on the TV stand and log out of any streaming services that are yours
3. Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
4. Close any windows, turn off lights, lock the back patio door, and lock the front door by pressing the button on the bottom of the e-lock

House Rules

We appreciate your respect for our space and house rules:

• No house parties
• Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy. You may smoke or vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1,000
• Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest

Amenities

• WiFi: Network: MyOptimum bb6357 Password: 4384-blue-75
• Parking: Free street parking is available on the other side of the road. You shouldn't have any issues finding a spot.
• Sleeping: The suite includes one king size bed.
• Coffee: We provide a Keurig-style coffee maker with a custom filter pod so you can brew your preferred coffee flavor. Generic creamer and sugar are provided, but feel free to bring specific flavors if you prefer.
• TV: The property has a full smart TV. Press one of the apps and log in for unlimited streaming movies and TV shows, or use the live TV option through Roku TV to access hundreds of channels.
• Outdoor Grill: An outdoor grill is available for guest use just outside the east door in a small hangout area. A cabinet nearby contains grill tools. This is a shared area for the lodge—please clean up after yourself and scrape the grill of food remnants when done.
• Garbage: A dumpster is available on the other side of the road by the parking lot for use during your stay.
• Housekeeping: As a small lodge, we don't offer complimentary mid-stay housekeeping. However, you can purchase mid-stay cleans from our housekeeping crew. Contact us directly if you'd like someone to clean the room and wash linens and towels at any point during your stay.
• Washing Machine & Dryer: We don't have a washing machine or dryer available for guests. For stays longer than 4 nights, feel free to request replacement towels and linens, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Mary's Maytag laundromat is located at 159 Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241 if you need to wash clothes.

Mail & Packages

We don't recommend having deliveries sent to the property due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee safe and timely delivery, as we're unable to monitor the property at all times.

For a more secure option, we recommend using the local post office's general delivery option. They can receive and store packages until you pick them up. Please provide clear instructions to delivery personnel if you choose this option.

Please note that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.

Items Left Behind

If you leave personal items behind, we're happy to help retrieve and ship them to you. Please be aware that shipping costs and our time involved will need to be paid before we can ship the items.
