Welcome to our home in Elkins! Whether you're spending time with friends and family or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. This manual includes check-in information, amenities, local recommendations, and answers to common questions.
We strive to offer a 5-star experience. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it.

Room 201
Check-In
Check-in is available any time after 4 pm.
When you arrive at 90 Faulkner Rd, park your vehicle on the other side of the road, leaving room for others as much as possible. The property is shown in the listing photos.
The room has an electronic Schlage lock, so you won't need keys. Enter the door code we sent you to unlock the door.
How to Use the Door Lock
The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt with wifi connectivity. To unlock:
- Press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad
- Type the code we provided
- The door will automatically unlock
If you see a red X, a number was likely pressed incorrectly. Try again. If the problem persists, contact us and we'll check the lock right away.
Ignore any lockboxes you may see—use the keypad on the front door only.
Check-Out
- Leave used towels on the floors and beds unmade
- Place the TV remote back on the TV stand and log out of any streaming services you used
- Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
- Close any open windows, turn off lights, lock the back patio door, and lock the front door by pressing the button on the bottom of the e-lock
House Rules
We appreciate your help in taking care of our space.
- No house parties
- Strict no smoking or vaping indoors. You may smoke or vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1,000
- Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest
- No pets. Room 201 is pet-free. We understand service animal accommodations and ask that you consider switching to one of our pet-friendly rooms to help us serve guests with allergies
Amenities
Sleeping: Two queen-size beds
WiFi: Network – MyOptimum bb6357 | Password – 4384-blue-75
TV: Full smart TV with streaming apps and live TV through Roku. Log in to your preferred services for unlimited movies and shows.
Coffee: Keurig-style coffee maker with a custom filter pod. Generic creamer and sugar provided; feel free to bring your preferred flavors.
Outdoor Grill: Available just outside the east door in a shared hangout area. Grill tools are in the cabinet. Please clean up and scrape the grill after use.
Parking: Free street parking available on the other side of the road.
Garbage: Dumpster available on the other side of the road by the parking lot.
Housekeeping
We do not offer complimentary mid-stay housekeeping, but you can purchase mid-stay cleans from our housekeeping crew. Contact us directly if you'd like someone to clean the room and wash linens and towels.
For stays longer than 4 nights, feel free to request replacement towels and linens, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Laundry
We do not have a washing machine or dryer available for guests. For laundry needs, Mary's Maytag laundromat is located at 159 Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241.
Mail & Packages
We do not recommend having deliveries sent to the property, as we cannot guarantee safe and timely delivery or monitor the property at all times.
For a more secure option, use the local post office's general delivery service. They can receive and store packages until you pick them up. Provide clear instructions to delivery personnel if you choose this option.
Please note that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.
Items Left Behind
If you leave personal items at the property, we're happy to help retrieve and ship them to you. Please note that shipping costs and our time involved will need to be paid before we can send the items.
