Welcome to our home! Elkins is a great place to live or visit, and we are delighted to share it with you. Whether you are spending time with friends or family, or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

This manual includes check-in information, amenities, area recommendations, and more. We strive to offer a 5-star experience to our guests. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address and fix the issues.

How to Access the Property

Check-in is available any time after 4 pm.

When arriving at 72 Faulkner Rd, you will see an Old Route 33 campground to your left and a bridge in front of you. Turn right onto Faulkner Road before the bridge. Continue past the gravel driveway and you will see a brown building to your right. Directly in front of you is the lodge, marked with the number 90 on the top left side, an American flag, and a covered entrance. The property to the right of the lodge is where you are staying.

You are through door number 1, the door furthest to the right when facing the building, marked with a sign reading "Riverside De Luxe."

Park your vehicle on the opposite side of the road, leaving room for others as much as possible. The property features electronic Schlage locks, so you do not need keys during your stay. Enter the door code we sent you to unlock the door.

Please note:

• The electronic lock locks automatically after 4 minutes
• Music must be played at a reasonable level; quiet time is between 10 PM and 8 AM

Door Lock Instructions

The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt with wifi capability. You will not use any lockboxes or keys during your stay. If you see a lockbox, please ignore it and use the keypad on the front door.

To unlock the door, press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad. Type the code we provided you, and the door will automatically unlock. If you see a red X when typing the code, a wrong number was likely accidentally pressed. Try again and it will likely work. If the issue persists, contact us and we will quickly check the lock.

House Rules

Being mindful of our house rules is appreciated and expected. We hope you love our space and will help us take care of it.

• No house parties
• Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy. You may smoke or vape outside. Smoke remediation fees start at $1,000
• Please clean up excessive messes; we'll take care of the rest

Amenities

• Sleeping: Our suite features 1 king size bed and a pull-out couch that can sleep 2 individuals.
• Coffee: We have a Keurig-style coffee maker with a custom filter pod that you can fill with your preferred coffee flavor. Generic creamer and sugar are provided, but feel free to bring specific flavors if you prefer.
• TV: This property is equipped with a full smart TV. Press one of the apps on the TV and log in for unlimited streaming movies and TV shows. You can also use the live TV option through Roku TV to access hundreds of channels.
• WiFi: Network: RiverFront Password: 5StarReview
• Parking: Free street parking is available on the opposite side of the road. You shouldn't have any issues finding a spot.
• Garbage: A dumpster is available on the opposite side of the road by the parking lot for your use during your stay.
• Housekeeping: We do not have the capacity to offer complimentary mid-stay housekeeping. However, you have the option to purchase mid-stay cleans from our housekeeping crew. Reach out to us directly if you would like someone to come in and clean the room and wash linens and towels.
• Washing Machine & Dryer: We do not have a washing machine or dryer available for guests. For stays longer than 4 nights, feel free to request replacement towels and linens, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Mary's Maytag laundromat is located in town at 159 Country Club Rd, Elkins, WV 26241 if you need to wash clothes.

Checkout Procedure

1. Leave used towels on the floors and leave used beds unmade
2. Place the TV remote back on the TV stand and log out of any streaming services that are yours
3. Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
4. Close any windows, turn off lights, lock the back patio door, and lock the front door by hitting the button on the bottom of the e-lock
5. Being that this is a pet-friendly home, pick up any remains in the yard so that future guests do not have to deal with these. Failure to do this will result in an $80 fee to have us do it for you. This is not included in your reservation as we do not charge extra for you to bring your pets.

Mail & Packages

We would like to advise that having deliveries sent to the property is not our recommended practice due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee the safe and timely delivery of packages, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times.

For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please ensure you provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option.

Please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.

Items Left Behind

In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. Please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items. We understand that accidents happen, and we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
