We are happy to welcome you to our home! West Virginia is a great place to live or visit, and we are delighted to share it with you. Whether you are spending time with friends or family, or working away from home, we hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
This page is your full guestbook that includes check-in info, amenities, recommendations in the area and much more. Make sure to reference this if you have any questions, as this likely answers them for you.
We strive to offer a 5-star experience to our guests. If anything is not up to your standards, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address and fix the issues.

How to Access the Property
Check-in time is 4PM (or anytime after) unless early check-in has already been discussed and agreed upon.
When arriving at 521 Woodhaven Dr, simply park your vehicle in the driveway or along the road in front of the house. The front door has an electronic lock installed, so you do not need to worry about keys during your stay. To gain entry, enter your door code and the lock will open.
Door Lock Instructions

The door lock is a Schlage Encode deadbolt—a wifi lock with no keys or lockboxes needed. To unlock the door:
- Press the home button on the bottom left of the screen to light up the keypad
- Type the code we provided you
- The door will automatically unlock
If you see a red X when typing the code, a wrong number was likely pressed. Try again and it will usually work. If the problem persists, contact us and we can quickly check the lock.
Check-Out Procedure
- Place TV remotes back on the TV stand in the living room and bedrooms and log out of any streaming services that are yours
- Do a final walkthrough to check for personal belongings
- Close any windows if opened, turn off lights, and lock the front door as you depart
House Rules
- If we have to move furniture back to its original position after your stay, we will charge $50 per hour. Please move furniture back before your departure.
- No smoking or vaping inside the home. Outside is okay as long as you clean up after yourself and keep smoke and vapors more than 10 feet from open doorways or windows. Smoking fees start at $500 plus the cost of cleaning and odor removal.
- Absolutely no parties allowed in the home.
- Quiet time is between 10PM and 8AM to respect neighbors and the area. No loud music or shouting after this time.
- Early check-ins have an associated fee, typically $30–50, depending on how early you want to check in.
- Late checkout is not available. Checkout time is set to allow our cleaning company time to prepare the property for the next guest. Unapproved late checkout incurs a $50 fee for every 30 minutes, plus any refunds or charges the next guest experiences due to your late checkout.
Amenities

- Parking: Driveway and street parking are available at the home with plenty of space for your vehicles. The garage is not large enough and has obstructions, so garage parking is not permitted to ensure safety.
- Sleeping: The property has 4 bedrooms: - Upstairs: 1 king and 2 queens - Downstairs living room/bedroom: 2 bunk beds (one with 2 twins, one with a full size bed on the bottom and twin on top) - Additional couches available if you prefer to spread out more
- Outdoor Grill: An outdoor propane grill is available for your use. Please let us know if propane is getting low or runs out so we can replace it as soon as possible. If you have a vehicle and can swap it at a nearby gas station, we are happy to reimburse you for the cost.
- Coffee: A standard drip coffee maker is provided with generic coffee flavors, cream, sugar, and filters. If you prefer something specific, we recommend picking it up beforehand.
- Laundry: Complimentary in-house laundry is available so you can have a clean set of clothes before you depart. The washer and dryer are in the basement towards the back. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided.
Please clean out any lint from the dryer after use, as too much buildup can be a fire hazard.
Television
The property is equipped with Roku TVs. Simply press one of the apps on the TV and log in for streaming movies and TV shows. Make sure to log out of your streaming services before you leave.
Garbage and Recycling
- Garbage day is every Friday morning. Please take garbage cans out to the street for pickup if your stay overlaps this day.
- Recycling day is every Monday morning. Please take recycling cans out to the street for pickup if your stay overlaps this day.
Mail and Packages
While we understand the convenience of having deliveries, we do not recommend having packages sent to the property due to the variable nature of delivery services. We cannot guarantee the safe and timely delivery of packages, as we are unable to monitor the property at all times.
For a more secure option, we recommend utilizing the local post office for any deliveries using their general delivery option. They are equipped to receive and store packages until your convenient pickup. Please provide clear instructions to the delivery personnel if you choose this option.
Please be aware that packages or mail delivered outside your reservation dates likely will not reach you.
Items Left Behind
In the event that you leave personal items behind at the property, we are happy to assist in their retrieval and shipment to you. Please be advised that there will be a shipping cost and our time involved that will need to be paid before we can ship the items.
We understand that accidents happen, and we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
